You can also innovate things by buying a smaller ice cream cup and slicing it into smaller pieces. It’s up to you to decide.

On the next day, you can now prepare the outer bread layer of your fried ice cream.

You may buy ready-made dough at your local grocery store or create your own from scratch.

In my experience, I have tried using the ready-made dough to cover my ice cream before frying it. It totally worked well.

Another thing I have tried is using a piece of white loaf bread to cover my frozen ice cream.

It would be best to flatten out a piece of loaf bread using a rolling pin or any glass bottle you have at home.

You can also use your mug or anything you might find that will do its job right.

Next, trim the edges of your flattened bread. This one is optional, so you may or may not do this if you want to.

Then, get a piece of egg and beat it. Also, prepare your bread crumbs and set them aside.

Once everything is set and finished, take out your frozen ice cream and start heating your oil.

Make sure to put a lot of oil in your pot to deep fry it.

Now, while waiting for your oil to heat up, you may now start covering your frozen ice cream with your flattened bread.

Then, roll it in the beaten egg and bread crumbs.

Check your oil if it’s hot enough; gently put it in your ice cream bread and wait for it to be golden brown.

It will take less than 3 minutes to see it turn golden brown.

After than, take it out and sprinkle it with powdered sugar, syrup, or sprinkles according to your liking.

On the other side of the coin, the not literally fried ice cream has something unique to offer.

You see, the not literally fried ice cream is not cooked in hot oil but rather “cooked” on a special metal plate or stone.

The special metal plate or stone used for this fried ice cream is not hot, rather it’s cold.

A creamy mixture of all the sweet goodness you like in ice cream is poured over the special metal or stone plate until they are set.

Once they are set, a special scraping tool is used to scrape out the “fried” ice cream.

It’s rolled out and put inside a cup, then topped with your desired toppings like syrup, fruits, sprinkles, and marshmallows.

Sometimes this not literally fried ice cream is called rolled ice cream.

Why is it called fried ice cream?

Fried ice cream is called such because of how it was prepared, frying.

Frying ice cream could be literally be taken into account or not.

If taken into account, you’ll need to fry it using cooking oil.

Note that you cannot DIRECTLY fry an ice cream in hot oil because accidents will happen.
